Action research is the “systematic inquiry” into a process to seek changes that are both effective and helps the process improve. The intention is to gather information and utilize it in their understanding and improvement through the simultaneous strategy of research and action. In action research, both researchers and subjects play their parts as contributors as they facilitate deriving solutions aimed at resolving problems that affect functioning.
